Two former NC State walk-on athletes who turned grit and determination into a movement. They didn't just build a business — they built a platform for the next generation.
Thayer Thomas
NFL Athlete · NC State Alum
A Wake Forest native and Heritage High School alum, Thayer walked on to play football and baseball at NC State, earning a Business Supply Chain degree and master's in Sports Management. He signed with the Minnesota Vikings to pursue his NFL career.
Jackson DeSilva
Entrepreneur · MBA Candidate · NC State Alum
A Wake Forest native and Rolesville High School alum, Jackson walked on to play football at NC State, earning a Business Finance degree as a first-generation college graduate. He is completing his MBA at NC State with a passion for entrepreneurship.
